I am Norval's widow. He died 3-29-1999 at home with me, his wife of 30 years. Somewhere on this site it says it found 57 marriage certificates. There should only be 4 - He was married twice before me - first to Jacquline Roberts Withrow of Indianapolis, mother of his three wonderful children, my stepchildren, Sam Withrow (Sarah)of Richardson,IN, Nancy Gross Withrow of South Bend, IN, and ME, twice, once in 1973 and again in 1989! We were divorced, yes, but never spent a day apart. Some people have marriages that don't work, we had a divorce that didn't work! Our friends laughed at us.
Norval is also survived by three great children, Sam Withrow of Richardson, IN, Fred Withrow of Indianapolis, IN, and Julie Withrow of Indianapolis, IN. All his kids are musicians. If you want any personal anecdotes or other info about my beloved darling of my heart, please contact me at Valerie J Withrow on FB or my email email@example.com. I'd love to hear from you and thank you so much for your geneological work. I'm a great fan of the Wilmots, Coburns, Withrows, et al. Love, Valerie Withrow

This is Davy. I visited Alton Cemetery last summer (2011)and photographed it. Others had done portions of it but there were a large number of photos missing. So I filled in most of the blank memorials.
If you get a chance, check it out again.

I also think that Isaac is a good possibility, b 1768 in Bedford Co, Pa., and mother Elizabeth Studebaker b 1782 in the same county. Their son Jacob named his son Abraham. I also have a rootsweb site that you might be interested in. I list 2 more Edna Karns.

Thanks for the nice note and information on your family in the St Joe area. If I can be of any further help to you please feel free to contact me.
|Mark Eckerman||RE: Karn Family|
I am related to the Karn family of Miami Co, OH. My great-great grandmother was Candace (Karn) Youart. Candace had a sister named Edna, but they didn't have children. Your welcome to use my Karn info, but I'm not sure they're related. I'm hoping to find the parents of Abraham Karn who died in 1885.
