The care of the Geneva Cemetery is handled now by the Geneva City Office. Since this has happened, there has been much work done with the cemetery records. The cemetery plots have been renumbered in order to make locating graves easier.

With that said, you will be receiving several updates with new "addresses" for your memorials. I respectfully request that you would approve these updates.

Thank you for your consideration,
Mary Seggerman

RE: Olga Calkins
You're welcome. I photographed all the Calkin headstones in Greenwood and added them to their memorials. Sadly the remaining children are unmarked.

In that case I will delete mine =] You might want to check to see if his wife (mom) can be added to his cenotaph also.

Benjamin Lewis Holt, Sr

I noticed you moved this memorial into Miramar National recently. I had entered a memorial for him (121367508) and uploaded a photo of the marker for his cenotaph. Are you directly related to him? Thanks-

RE: Harry H Flory Headstone Photo
You are very welcome, glad I could find him. Also added his wife's stone to her memorial. I was a little surprised there were no dates on the stones; also there was no larger family stone. They are buried behind her parents, I believe. There is large group of Furrey/Furrys right around them. Use the photos I took however you wish. Pat

I have a couple relatives there and I will try to get the cemetery added when I get a chance. It is just known as the 'old Weyerhaeuser cemetery'. It was the original for Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in town. Deb

Hi Ben,
I was out to the cemetery yesterday, to check on the new headstone! It looks very nice! Thank you so much for doing this! It is a great tribute to Francis!

RE: James Aaron Peer
I will check next time I am there. I believe the name said Aaron Peer rather than James Aaron, so perhaps it is not the right individual.

Hi Ben,

I went there twice and thinking I had the wrong location I actually took the groundskeeper with me. He had the lot outlines and using another existing headstone, he pointed to the location in the picture. He said it was not uncommon to have no marker. There was information about his spouse in the register I believe. I did not transcribe it because I thought it would be on the headstone. I'm sure it was his wife and I believe there was a middle name and date. They do keep the dates of burial of course. I believe his obituary is on Halinet. I live in Burlington so if you need a little help email me and I'll see if I can point you in the right direction. Greenwood Cemetery: 905.335.7765
