Your welcome but it was pure luck..I got there with no map and requests to look in sections M..W etc except all the signs marking sections had street names on them not letters or numbers...

I didn't make it out to Middleburg today, but stayed close to home and got some photos at the Bellefontaine Cem. There are quite a few Jacobs there. I added pictures tonight for Samuel & Gertrude (Jacobs) Archer and Orville & Ida (Smith) Jacobs. I have also added some vital statistics to the caption of the photo. Maybe these can help you to make a connection.

Hi again Bonnie,
I checked the listing for Jacobs at Middleburg Cemetery and there weren't any listed. Not even as being buried without a marker, but the list is from 1980. Once it warms up today I will head back out there and maybe get lucky like I did with the Henry's.

You're welcome. I'm so very glad I could help. The Henry marker was a great find for me. They weren't in the cemetery listing I had for Middleburg Cemetery as having grave markers. Once I took the photo of the Smith's I decided to just start snapping photos to try to get the whole cemetery posted, someday. I was just about to wrap it up for the day, when I looked back at one more row and there they were. Well, needless to say, I didn't stop there, but went on to take a couple more rows. It's so much fun to find markers I don't expect to find.
Good luck with your search.

YOUR VERY WELCOME.

You are welcome. I decided to go ahead and photograph the whole cemetery. I have met lots of great people on this site !

You're welcome! But I have to confess that the spouses are almost always on the same headstone in a military cemetery. Their info is listed on the back of the headstone, so anytime I take a photo on post, I make it a point to check if there is a spouse listed behind them. It just takes a moment. I have learned that a lot of people don't realize the spouse is there too when they ask for the photo, so I always include it too.

I also added a photo of his wife, Mildred L. Cordt.
