I went to the cemetery this afternoon and found the Smedley Family plot. There is not Julia Smedley, but there is a Juliana Smedley. I have photographed all the headstones on the site and am posting them now.

I was looking at Ann Owens husbands headstone in Cave Cemetery in Ky , who is the Catherine S. whose name is also on his headstone?
I dont see an interment for her . Was she married to a stites also? Just curious .

I am glad to have been some help in a small way in searching to find his headstone and marker,
and I kinda feel myself she may have been buried there too by the initial stone that was by her sons grave .

PS How did she come by her first name as William?I am curious.

Mr Stites headstone at Spring Hill was a loner except for a stone at the left side of his headstone was an initial stone with J H S written on it and his mothers headstone was nowhere to be found as was also said by the person who gave me the directions of which Section James was buried in . his mother was not buried anywhere there .
