RE: Jacob Kerns
Glad you liked it. If I get a chance, next time I'm at the Nebraska archives will look for his obituary. Maybe it will give his birthdate.

David Maxwell
John Maxwell & Sarah Robinson
John Maxwell is the son of William Maxwell, first printer in Cincinnati in 1783 and the brother of William Maxwell, born 1794 in Cincinnati. William the printer is my 4th great grandfather and his son William is my 3rd great grandfather. John would be my 3rd great grand uncle. I would be interested in your descent from John and Sarah and whether you have any information concerning Sarah's genealogy.

RE: Minnie Peck
the 1983 research say Minnie H. peck died Nov. 11,1879 It is not readable on stone, but probably was in 1983, or at least in Mrs. Guffey's little ledger book. all of the buriels have been entered in a small hand written ledger book, she said there are 3 copies of this book.I viewed it on Friday. I asked if she would ever consider making a photo copy of it. she just said she might. the cemetery is kept up beautifully just East of their house back in a bean field. all mowed ,weed eated and in very good condition. She told me she is very happy when some one is interested in viewing it. And there are recent 90's burials all Guffeys.

RE: ruth proffitt kingdon Peck
the 1983 research says that Minnie was 19yrs 2mo 11da. the writing is almost illegible now but it definitely says peck. it is the tall white stone, I could see some writing on 2 sides, possibly same stone as mothers. ruth profit peck is in row 12, the white tall stone is row one judy
