I tried Oklahoma Historical Society but got no answer back from them.

What a wonderful picture that you have of him but I was wondering why he was buried in Meeker if he was Rifle's oldest citizen.

I really don't know, I am not related to this family. I don't usually create family links until a family member tells me of the relation. Sometimes I'll link spouses if they share a stone, and it is obvious they are married.
It doesn't look like I linked Rosa as daughter, so I am not sure if they are related. If you find out, let me know!!
