Thank you--the edit was just sent yesterday--it will come through before long--I still show it on my contributor page. Johnnie

When I was looking at my son-in-laws ancestors on Ancestry.com I saw Myrtle Mae Sims Dickenson's Find A Grave memorial and looked at the pic of blue bonnets you have on your profile. Being a native Texas I have seen gorgeous bluebonnet fields like that. I downloaded it to my computer--don't know that I would ever have need of it but would like to have your permission to use it should the need or want to arise. By the way--I sent you an edit with her death date and will send an edit with her maiden name.

Donna, just wondering if you know if there is a stone for James P. Lance? If not wonder what we can do to get him one? I'm not directly descended...but I am through his sister, Rebecca Lance Tow, who married William Tow and moved to Union County, GA before the 1850 census. We just placed a memorial stone for Rebecca at the Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Suches, Union County, Georgia, about two weeks ago and are having a dedication service in four weeks.

Thank you very much for the transfer of my family members to me.

I've come across some research that indicates that Lillie married a Henry Holtsclaw Rector on 01/15/1877 in the District of Columbia. I traced the family to Fauquier County, VA on the 1880 census and then to TX where Lillie married a King and her son, John Thompson Rector, was living with them. John then married May Shelton who lived next door to the Kings on the 1900 census. Also, on John Thompson Rector's death cert, his father is listed as H.H. Rector. I was wondering where the "William" fit in for Lillie's first husband or if there are some records I'm not aware of.
Is there anyway I can contact you other than this?, I can't get through on your email address.
Charles Harvey Lance, and Rebecca Souther were my great, great , grandparents.
I'm Charles Harvey Lance's great, great, grandson. I was born, and raised in Buncombe Co., N.C., but I'm almost your neighbor, I live in Wimberley.
James P. Lance had another brother named Samuel L. Lance, he moved to Missouri before the war. He enlisted in the 29th Missouri Infantry Regiment. This was a Union regiment. He's buried at Mound City National Cemetery in Illinois.

Two EDITs came through but others came through as corrections and one had a deleted memorial to link to, but I don't recall which one. Sorry, as I get many edits. Thanks!
