Archie Camp
Hi Jean! Hey just letting you know I finally confirmed where Archie was buried, and I added him to Find A Grave. He's with his parents in the Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Brazoria County. See #164209171.

Phil & Donna (Stricklan) Whitaker
Velnettie Camp Harper
You must submit Velnettie's memorial number to the manager of the son, Charley's, memorial.

When adding children you must add the parent memorial number to the child's memorial and not the child to the parent.

RE: Camp & Gallion names
Do you live in TX, OK, or elsewhere?
Have you ever been to Muse or Talihina, OK? Just curious.

Will do that!
Maybe we can exchange photos (I love photos) ... if either of us has any that the other is interested in.

RE: Camp & Gallion names
My (deceased) father-in-law was Lester Camp, the s/o Samuel Camp, so yes by marriage I am related but since I have a daughter named Camp she is certainly related. So glad to make these connections!

RE: Camp & Gallion names
No, you didn't mess anything up ... I am grateful for the find on Samuel's father Charles B. Camp. I did not know who his parents were. Since Charles died in 1899 when Samuel was only about 3 I am wondering who raised him and his siblings? Do you have this family in the 1900 and 1910 census?

Camp & Gallion names
I am very much wanting to elaborate on the Camp & Gallion names from the line you sent me the link for. Thank you for the link to the f/o Samuel!
