|I am a nurse practitioner who suddenly discovered her love of genealogy when I became interested in joining the Daughters of the American Revolution about ten years ago. Since that time I have researched most of my family lines and have discovered I have ten Rev War ancestors, among them Daniel Davidson, Michael Roark, John Watson, John Combs, John Moore, Edward Broaddus, William Carter, Wilmoth Harding, and several others. I continue to research my family's roots and love every moment of it, thus, my interest in researching cemeteries.|
Currently, I am Regent of the local DAR chapter and am very interested in helping those who wish to honor their ancestors by seeking membership in their DAR chapter. If I can be of assistance to anyone, please send me a message and I will resond as quickly as possible!

We just added a picture of Wendell Holmes to your listing of W. W. Holmes. Birth info matches but stone just lists name as Wendell Holmes not W.W. Let us know if we need to delete photo. Thanks

You have Jack's birth year wrong. You have his birth year as 1889 but it should be 1925.
I have made that mistake and thought you would like to know.
I research Deatons, Freemans, Vuncannons
Cave Spring, GA but born and raised in Troy, Montgomery Co, NC

This is an ancestor of mine. I visited Red Hill Cemetery and took a photo that I added to this site. Please note the correction of the name. It should be Florence not Lorence. Thanks for all the work you have done. It's great and led to my recent trip there. Doris Sponsler

My Great Great Great Grandfather Daniel Davidson married to Sarah "Sally" White was the father of Silas Davidson who married Elizabeth "Betsey" Lewis. Silas was married 3 times. My Great Grandfather was his eldest child, born 30 August 1813 in Clay County, Kentucky. They migrated to Indiana where my grandfather was born. Thanks for the website. Is there a tombstone?

I was reading your message for findagrave and I see that you are related to Daniel Davidson.I to am related to him. Daniel 1820-1896 is the half brother to my gggrandfather Lemuel Davison. Daniel 1753-1832 is my gggggrandfather. His son Samuel D 1780-1866 is my ggggrandfather. I just resently found his grave in Clarinda,Iowa and added it to findagrave memorial..Now I'm looking for his 20 children and trying to link them to his site...I love the findagrave site, it is such a great way for people to find their relatives and see how they travel across this country of ours..
It's amasing to see that the people in the same family spell their last name two different ways and yet they are the same family..
I hope you will be able to connect Daniel to his fathers site and do you have any idea where his mother Elizabeth Callahan Davison 1773-1822 may be buried...Do you have any idea about where Daniel 1753-1832 may be buried...Thanks for your time and good luck on your family hunt...Carolyn Janssen

Also could you link him to his wife Sarah Jane Davidson 1823-1903 #40271899. Her maiden name is Duff.
Thank you so much...Carolyn Janssen

Hi Jane, I haven't been on my computer since spring gardening time. Have you had a chance to get out to Red Hill Cemetery yet? I have been searching everyplace and there are no pictures of these grandparents graves. Thanks.

Thank you for pointing that out. That was a typing error. Thanks again.
