I started researching my Stafford Berks & Lancaster Counties roots in 2009 - which, course, meant visiting many cemeteries. Before I visit any cemetery, I always check findagrave to see if there are any photo requests. My husband and I even checked for photo requests for New Orleans before we went on vacation there!|

Appreciate it! Happy New Year to you, too!

Samuel's grandmother was a Wolfcale. That is my blood line.

I changed her name to Julian. Tks for the information. I am related to the Kricks.

I do live close to Berks County and I like to visit the cemeteries there when I find a new ancestor. Even when I am in the area for another reason I will drop in for a short visit.
I have found the same thing, that I have cousins I never knew I had. It is so cool, I wish my mom was still alive to see how much information you can find on Ancestory.com She is the one who got me started on genealogy about 18 years ago.
I was blown away when I found how many of my ancestors are on Findagrave! (besides the ones I put there)
My daughter was doing the research for the DAR, and I think she had it all the connections through Jacob Ruth who was married to Catharine Krick, and she was so close, but they never contacted her back. So I don't know if it is a dead issue now or not. I hope you get all your ducks in a row, it is a worthwhile organization.
Take care, it is great to meet you!

I am researching my ancestors on Ancestory.com. I clicked on a leaf on Frantz's name and found him here on Findagrave and saw your note. He is also my 6th great Grandfather! Just wanted to say Hello!

Love your information and pictures of the Stafford family but would you please connect them together. There are some with the same first name and it gets confusing to figure out who is who. I am also a grand daughter. Thanks Jan

Because I was not familiar with the process. I'll just mind my own business.

Hi Tracy! You are correct about genealogy being a lot of fun. In the last 20 years of research, I have come into contact with many cousins that were heretofore unknown to me. Many of those cousins are not only relatives, but have become good friends.
Findagrave has helped with locating cousins. I always ask contributors if they are related to the person whose memorial they created. The exception being the mega contributors.
Tracey, how are you related to William K. Steffy? If you are related, then you are indeed a cousin.
