RE: Virginia/West Virginia
Maybe you can track down John Hunter Moore's burial in Griffith Cemetery, in Glen Falls, WV.
Wish you luck on your trip. Let me know how successful you are.

Erasing blank entries on you message site
You can delete the messages you don't want on your site; like the ones that got there when I sent a blank message. Just click the x in the upper left hand corner of the message of the ones you would like to delete.

RE: Too weird
This is why I collect obituaries- it gives me an idea about the person besides their name and dates. Sometimes your lucky to get a picture of them, also. It makes one want to dig deeper and know about everyone that is related.
When I found I was enthused more than ever to get all my obits into the site. Then I wanted the stones there, also. Sometimes when people don't put the info in on people I have obits of I will put a copy of the obit on their site. This makes some mad, but I am sure there are others out there that want to know more than the dates.
Sometime people put stones in and just give the dates on the stones and don't know more. If I have more I will add the obit.
Genealogy is such a fascinating hobby that I've had for over 20 years- now I can contribute more on this site. I am still getting things connected.
Of course every time I get into I can get side tracked when new obits or info goes in. Sometimes just checking my email, I find more information I didn't know.

Delbert's grave
I have it, but I haven't put it in yet. The one I have isn't very good. Maybe I will put it in until I get a better one.

RE: Great grandpa Schermer
I changed grandpa Schermer's year to 1972- which is right.

Why don't you leave flowers on the sites you visited? It's a nice way, since you can't get to the cemetery in person.
On the right hand side near the botton of the site- there's a place that says leave flowers and a note. Click on that box and a there are catagories to choose from. Then each choice drops down with pictures and click on picture and it will guide you through process of leaving flowers.

Try it.

I am glad someone has showed interest in genealogy. Maybe I can get you some information that I already have done. There is enough information to share and enough information still to find.
