Yes, Jesse's mother, Amy Warner moved to Appleton from New York in about 1856. Amy's maiden name was Warner and she married a man named David Warner and they had 4 children together. (I actually don't think they were even related!)
I am not sure if Amy was ever married to Jesse's father or what happened to him.
Are you on Ancestry.com? I have a tree for Amy at: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/12924461/person/-142049763
I called Riverside Cemetery about two weeks ago, and they sent me some burial records for Amy, David, Jesse, and Amy's mother Betsey Robbins Warner Chamberlain. On Amy's burial record, they included an obituary.
What website would you recommend to find obituaries for Appleton ancestors?
Are you related to Jesse? Amy would be my 2x great grand aunt. And Betsey would be my 3x great grandmother.

Please add a link to Jesse's mother, Amy Warner. She is #137554838. They are buried in the same plot, Lot 101, Block K. (As a side note David Warner is not his father.)

Hi Deb, just wanted to let you know that I've inserted a tombstone picture for Antonia and then created a memorial for her husband Leo and linked them. If you'd like a transfer of Leo's memorial, just let me know by providing your F.A.G. member number. They are not of my family. Regards, Nadeen

I went back to the cemetery on Fri to check the headstone again. There is nothing to show her birth date from what I could make out. You were right in that the Baptist Minister line.
Sorry not to have found out more for you.

I glad the photo was the one you wanted. To be honest with you, I didn't actually look closely at the headstone as it was getting on and the cemetery man had already gone over his finish time by 20 minutes helping me find various graves. So I took the photo and left.
I have looked at the photo and tried some different processing techniques to try and make it clearer to read but to no joy. The large clump of lichen is too prominent to make the headstone more readable.
The cemetery is very close to my son's school so will try and call in tomorrow, weather / time depending, to see if I can read anything more on the headstone. If I can't make it tomorrow, I will try again on Fri as I am away Tues - Thurs.
All the best

Was just looking thru the photo requests I have gotten and Christopher Stark has a photo of his headstone on memorial #51888137. So the photo is on this memorial # instead of the one you made - #127003842. Just wanted you to know.
