May I use your photo of Beriah's gravestone on WeRelate.org, the genealogy Wiki? I think it would be a great addition to his page and I would of course give you attribution for it. Thanks,
Frank Hawkins

RE: Hove and Eckert in Rich Valley
Hi Melanie,

I do have photos that I can add for you.

could you use the edit tab at the top right corner of each of their pages and leave me a short message eg "One of mine" using the corrections link

so use the edit tab
then the corrections link
then write short message

that way I get linked directly to the pages and do not have to search for them.

RE: Maria LaRue Lane
Hi Melanie,

Sorry it's taking me so long to return your email. I just found it on find a grave.

Yes I am related to Maria LaRue. However she was the second wife for my 3rd great-grandfather, Lorenzo Lane, and the blood relative is from his first wife, Rachel. However, I feel that marriage is marriage, so that makes family : )

That's exciting that you have transcribed the will! I do have a copy of Maria's father's will. But I didn't think to transcribe it. Sure does have a lot of great info on the family and who married who and such.

Would you consider emailing it to me?
Or are you on member of ancestry.com? And have it uploaded there?

Kind regards,
Linda Turner

I have moved my photo to your memorial and deleted my memorial and also transferred her daughter Dorotha to you.

Thanks for letting me know that there was two memorials for her.....
she wasn't related to me, so she belongs with family.

Hi. I found the graves you requested but they were mostly covered in ice. I will go back out in a couple of weeks.

Ignatz/Rosina Nientimp @ Holy Sep
I added the pics for Ignatz and Rosina. Also buried dwith them is their son Joseph, and I added a pic for him. There is a large monument in their plot with "Meyering Neintimp" on one side and "Meyering Rampe" on the other but there are no individual stones with the other names on them. George Young (1883-1898) is buried at the foot of the monument and I created a memorial and added a pic for him.

RE: Gertrude Mayeu
Hey Melanie, Actually it's been a rule for years ... but a lot of people have been ignoring it.

What I do is "extract" information from an obit and then put it on the persons bio .... That way I'm not referencing funeral homes, newspapers, addresses, etc. One of the reasons they have that rule is to prevent ID Theft ... putting a survivors name and where they live could indeed lead to that in this day and age ... plus some people (survivors) don't want others to know where they live.

One of the records that I did an "Extract" from a obit on recently was this record and you can see how it went. :-)

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=125908968

It takes more time that way .... but safer I think.

Hope this helps. Have a great day!
