Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired radiologist living in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am interested in genealogy, among numerous other things.

I strive to obtain the best possible photos. However, many graves have dirt on them or are overgrown with grass or weeds. Some, especially bronze plaques, are oxidized and difficult to read. I do minimal cleaning, with a brush and water, so as to not damage the marker. If anyone desires me to attempt better photos, kindly just say so, and I'll do my best.

RE: Keith Family
I will see if I can find anything. But, Edward and Elizabeth Keith Ford was parents to James Sangster - where did the name Sangster come from if his parents were Ford? Just wondering.

RE: Francis Patton
Links can only be done from child to parent. You are the manager of Francis Patton's memorial so you are the one that would need to do the links. If you don't see a blue link that says "link family members", then you need to log into the site before going to the memorial.

Paul:

Thank you for the memorial for Ola Martin Keller-Sweeten, FindaGrave # 53569673. Could I ask you to link her parents, as such:

1. Father: Barney Columbus Martin, FindaGrave # 107326726
2. Mother: Alice Jane Booth Martin, FindaGrave # 115821472

Or, if you wish, you may transfer the memorial to me (see FindaGrave # below) and I will make the links.

Kind regards,

John Martin Powell

RE: gravestones at Calvary
When you get to it, just let me know if I accidentally duplicated any of them. I have no problem deleting. I've finished going though all my Citizen's photos from our last trip to Flag and am working on Calvary. It will probably be a week or two before I get to them all so your timing coming back from your trip should be perfect.

RE: graves at Calvary
I've done it myself. No worries. I'll let you know if I stumble on any others.

RE: John Yost, jr.
The date makes it seem likely but I couldn't find anything confirming it. But he doesn't have an AZ death certificate. Of course, that might not mean anything. It seems like Coconino county was slow in conforming to doing them. It seems like a lot from the early 1900s don't have them from Coconino.

RE: Yoders at Shanesville First Reform
I entered memorials for Catherine, Miltie (with photo) and Leonidas yesterday. The sun was setting and washed out my photos of the panels with Leonidas & Catherine's info, so I'll try again on those in the near future (cemetery is a short walk from my house). I was just thrilled to find them the other night, since I attempted to photograph the cemetery at two different times, but misread my notes and skipped that row on the 2nd trip. There is a virtual cemetery on my profile page for the victims of the New Year's Eve fire, although I'm unable to locate three of them.
