Coming from a historic area in Oklahoma created an interest in family history. Now that the pioneer generations of the family are gone, I am more interested than before in preserving what I can about them, and finding more. This site has been helpful in finding people that I had not found anywhere else.

I have been working on family history for over 20 years now. I have found living and dead relatives. The family names include Willis or Wyllis from England, Warden, Roberts from Wales, Chadwell. All four families ended up in Oklahoma by or shortly after 1907 statehood.

Family is extremely important to me and I hope to connect all four branches to European roots and find cousins that I have lost track of over the years .

RE: Thomas H & Stella Roberts
Hi Sharon-No I am sorry I don't have any more info on the Roberts for you. I am not related. And sorry for the delay, I was at a genealogy conference all last week. Debbie

Jim Larchey
Sharon, you mentioned Mr. Larchey in a public message, and it sounded to me like he is buried in Missouri, and you are too far away to visit his grave. I searched for him to see if I am anywhere close to his grave, thought I would surprise you with a photo if it is in my part of the state, but cannot find him posted. Maybe I read your post incorrectly?

RE: Baby Alexander
It looks as if the Baby is not buried near John but that doesn't mean that they aren't related. The cemetery has a web site where you can look at the spreadsheet showing all burials. and then key in riverview cemetery in the search box. It'll take you to the page that has the three sections by alphabetic order of all burials. Also their phone number is 620-441-4470 and someone is in the office from 8 or so to noon. She steps out but you should be able to reach her sometime. She has all the records on cards for each plot and it may tell who the parent of Baby is. I'm working on getting memorials and photos out for all burials even those with no tombstone and I started with the A's. The heat of the summer derailed me but I'm back at it. Good luck, Linda
