I had enjoyed going to cemeteries most of my life they are peaceful and make you wonder what the people had been like. Love looking at names and dates. |
I had enjoyed for a short time entering pictures and information. I do not mind transferring maintenance to anyone who would like it. I have found some contributors to be rude and not respectful of others due to greedy for no reason at but to make their numbers look good and others when contacting people they are rude and do not think before they contact people. Please look before you enter information if the deceased persons are not already there and that the pictures you have are good, be respectful of the loved ones first. Due to people not being respectful I have lost my interest in this.
Sorry, please contact me any time for updates or a request to have "ownership" to be changed but please be respectful when contacting ANYONE about anything. ~Karma~

Hi - I did some looking for his parents and found them!
His parents are James Brewster (B. 1799) Find A Grave Memorial# 37593865
and Margaret Jannette Ferguson (07 Mar 1806 - 11 May 1862) Find A Grave Memorial# 37593883.
James Pendleton Brewster was his uncle.

|rc90||Your requests at Blue Ridge in Beckley, WV|
Hi - I notice that you have several photo requests from Blue Ridge Cemetery in Beckley, WV. Would you be able to call the cemetery (304-256-8625) to find the location of those that you've requested, then let me know? It will make it much easier for me to locate them. Thanks.
I plan to get to Blue Ridge on Monday and will be glad to try to fill your requests then...

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the info you have added, updated and linked to my family sites. I now have a large majority of my Simril line linked from my aunt up until the 1700's. I am still working on getting some more done, but you have helped so much with my project. Thank you for taking the time! Merry Christmas (and I still will be adding some photos!)

|Susan R. Whatley||Thank you|
Thank you for all of your work on Find A Grave and for the Word and Underwood transfers!
|Shelley Miller||McCrorey graves|
Thank you, thank you for taking Isaac Cheney McCory's grave pictures. What a nice grave! Also thank you for going that extra mile and taking the wife and the little baby. I did not know about this little one. I am glad to add him to our tree. I am researching the Cheney family. The Patriarch was Aquilla Jefferson Cheney who ran large plantations and furniture making company. This little baby was obviously named after him (Frances Cheney's father).
Also, I had a problem researching the McCrorey's because many records were listed under McCrorey - these stones prove that they dropped the E. This is why I love seeing the graves.

Thank you very much for attempting to fulfill my request for a photo of this grave site. The birth, death and burial information that I have on Martha Norissa Polk Sewell is not confirmed, yet I believe that her grave may be unmarked. She died during the Civil War while her husband was walking home from being held as a prisoner of war up north. She was the first wife of my ancestor, John Asberry Sewell, and I believe that some of her children are also buried in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Since she is not my ancestor (mine is the second wife), I will leave it to her descendants to unravel the mystery of her burial site. Thanks again.
