Margaret Wiatt Fisher
Hello. In the fall of 2009 you added a photo to the memorial of William Brittian Fisher at Bardwell Cemetery (memorial 43085465). His second wife, Margaret, is also named on the stone. I created a memorial for her today and wondered if you would like to add your photo to her memorial, also (memorial 111995201. Thank you very much!

RE: Ballard County
Yep! Although it tends to be a winter time project for me. I'm real interested in the genealogical aspect of it. Always fun to see who is related to whom.

Re: W D. Bredlow (Breedlove) stone
Dear Herman,

Thank you so much for your time and generosity in taking the picture of W. D. "Bredlow's" headstone, and even putting it on his page. It is most appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend!

Brittan Smith
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! A million times thank you! I so much appreciate your willingness and kindness. I have been trying for 3 years to get a photo of his grave.

Sgt. Brittan, Brittain and other spellings, was my ggg grandfather, was a Union soldier with the USA Co. 7th Cavalry. He escaped capture by General Forrest in the ill-fated 7th US Cavalry possibly because he was with a detachment sent to southern Illinois. where he contracted and died of pneumonia on 16 Oct 1863.

He was born <1827> in NC, but had lived in Henderson Co., TN, for a number of years. He was married to Amcy H. Milner and they had 8 children. This family lost several members in the war. As I said, Brittan narrowly escaped being captured and being sent to Andersonville along with his daughter's father-in-law, Pvt. Winship P. (Winch) Dyer. His death, although tragic and difficult, was far easier than that of my other ggg grandfather (Winch Dyer)

find a grave
THANKS SO MUCH for taking those grave photos of
Rachael & Della Craig, who are mother and daughter.

I've been wanting a photo for YEARS! Theres just something about having an actual photo to help verify family info.

Do you know if theres an active church connected to the Rose Hill Cemetery? As, I would like to get an address, so I can contact them directly in the future.

As, I want to see if they have any files on my family. I'm trying to track down other Craigs or their in-laws ect....

Speaking of you have kin buried in Rose Hill?

Thanks again!
Joanne Craig
