Hello, We are Brad & Amanda Collins. We have been working on our family tree for about 10 years now. We use a PC program from "My Heritage" and we love it. We are still learning a lot about geneolgoy and how to research our family. We enjoy history and going out and finding out stuff about our family. We just started getting involved with "Find A Grave" and we enjoy going out taking pictures of tomestones of family, friends and famous people. We have three children (Brady 15, Madison 6, Brooklyn 1). I work as a Paramedic and my wife is a homemaker while the girls are small and she is very active in the school PTA.

 | Vaters in Crown Hill Hi Brad and Amanda Just wanted you to know I posted photos for Thomas and Nancy Brooks Vater, parents of Harry Vater, in Crown Hill, Indianapolis. Right now Nancy is listed under Vaster. I have submitted a correction to the memorial owner. Hopefully it will be corrected in a day or two. Have a good evening.
Nadine

You have flowers posted with 2 different names for his mother. And you gave us the maiden name as Lockwood but have the flower spelled with Lockwood with an e.
Please delete whichever flower has the incorrect information.
Thank you. | | | Trudy
 | Re: Ansel Hello, I have made the additions and connected as you requested. If this is your family I will be glad to transfer these memorials to you.

 | amos/ditto Looks like we are distant cousins. I have been researching the Amos family for some time now, with several road blocks. it was not until I did the DNA testing on ancestry that I could prove some information. Nicholas Amos & Christina Ditto are also my 5th great grandparents. I currently live in Oklahoma however my husband and I are going to travel and I am going to do research all accross the US, let me know if you need any pictures or anything.. Nice to meet you... | | | Scott Shoup

 | Elbert Haines Nevermind - found the marker! | | | Scott Shoup
 | Elbert Haines Do you know if Elbert was married? If so, what was his wife's maiden name that might help me locate the burial. However, I've catalog almost the entire cemetery and don't think that there is a stone for him.
Since the most of the family seems to be buried at Stahl, would there have been a reason why he would be at Six Mile?

 | Johnson family Hi Brad,
Sorry to say that you have mixed up two Johnson families under your page for Thomas Henry Moon.
You've combined the identities of George Johnson, born 1813 in Ohio, with Elijah Johnson, born 1811 Pennsylvania, and their wives, Ruth Moon, born 1818 in Ohio, with Anna Jane Foster, born 1813 in PA. Elijah and Anna Jane were married on 6 Nov 1832, probably in Fayette county PA, and both died in Appanoose county, Iowa, 1889 and 1879, respectively. They had all the children you state except Robert Barclay Johnson.
I've been researching this family for over 30 years. My webpage for Elijah is at http://ancestraldata.com/ahnentafel/36/
Could the families have been related? I suppose, but none of the data corresponds.
Please let me know the source of your information so that I can contact that person and fix it at that end.
Thanks, Michael | | | | [View all messages...] |
