Linda,
I was wondering if you have a way of knowing if one of my relatives is buried in the Kimball Cemetery, his name was LeRoy Demour Wilson born Oct.7,1894 and he died June 12,1918 I don't see him on find a grave He was my uncle. Any information would be greatly appreciated by me. I am trying to update a genealogy from the 1950's that I have and haven't been able to track down. My aunt could be buried there as well if he is as she died in 1917 as an infant, her name was Hazel Larrie born July 5, 1916 dies on July 8,1916.

Dear Linda, My name is Linda Weber Childs, Jerez I was married to Bob for seven years. I met his parents in Az. and his sister Melissa, brother Steve in L.A. We divorced in 1980, not that I really wanted that , but things happened. I met Bob in Keokuk, Ia.When we separated he had alot of my things still that mean alot to me such as my fathers WW1 medals, etc. While I was searching for him, I came across this info, and it saddens me tremendously. I had wonderful feelings for Bob. He was a super nice man, and we had alot of happy years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I loved him very much. Hi Linda.... Unfortunately, your relative is correct.... The site that I accessed awhile back is surrounded by tall, thick, jagged weeds that extends about 50 yards from the road... not sure what Bramble Bushes are, but he was probably describing this area... When I finally did reach the site, I did a pretty thorough check of the area, and found no traces of a family plot... I'm not saying that they aren't burried there, but any markings appear to be long gone... I am currently undergoing Physical Therapy for my Knees, so I am reluctant to attempt to access the terrain... Not sure if Norm wants to "brave the brush" ... but I can certainly try to point him in the right direction.... | | | | [View all messages...] |
