Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interest in genealogy started with my father's family about 5 years ago. My father never knew his father. He died when my dad was just 4 years of age. By 8 he was sent to Hershey Industrial School. "Hershey School for Boys". He always wondered where the Kehler family came from. I only wish he were here today to see for himself all I have found. The Kehler's are my main focus but I also have an interest in his mothers side. Dodd and Sooy family. Sooy is a family name that fascinates me because every Sooy in this country comes from one man, Yoos Sooy. Yoos had 2 sons who lived to maturity, Joseph and Nicholas. My line is Joseph. I have spent countless hours researching this family and have tried to link as many Sooy family's together as possible on F.A.G. for future researchers. I am grateful to all who have been so kind to either link and add, or transfer memorials so I can keep this family together.

I randomly add the forgotten through obituaries so if I have a distant or family member you would like to manage please feel free to request them. Any photo's I have taken may be used for Genealogical purposes.

RE: Port Norris Cemetery
I believe they are one in the same - if you google the Port Norris ME church you will find a PDF of the history of the church and the original structure was located by the cemetery but it was damaged I believe by fire and was rebuilt in it's current location. If you can't find it, send me your email address I think I downloaded it and saved it on a flash drive - it's and interesting read even with a couple pages missing. Many of my family lived in the area and were involved in building the church.
