Hi everyone! I cant really think of too much to say. Mainly I first started out with my grandparents on here, then other family members, and close family friends as well. I've always felt that some part of the past should be somewhat preserved for our future generations to have something to fall back on. For them to know where there roots are and began. Being raised in a small town in north Iowa has always meant alot to me. It inabled me to remain close to my grandparents, and my great aunts and uncles, and other family members. This was also benefitical when it came to finding out dates and stories.
My interests include family history/ geneolgy, area and community history, church history, family, and especially family get togethers. Also sub. as a church organist from time to time. Enjoy all types of music.
Despite what others may say about the website here; this site also plays a big roll in geneology. There's no way that find a grave and geneology can be seperated. They will always be tied in together.
With my findagrave profiles.... I have permission of the families. Most of the people I have on here are either family, or close family friends.
My camera isn't very good with pics. but if I can help you out in any other way, please let me know; and I'll try as best as I can to help you. And may each of you have success on your searches as well!

Delete photo requests
You need to delete your photo requests for Michael Lisk, Kelena and Allen Herold as I see the memorials have been combined and photos added to them. Alice

RE: Herold and Lisk Graves.
You need to contact the lady who made the other memorials and possibly she still has the photos and will put them on your memorial. If she won't delete hers, then you need to contact findagrave and they will combine the two memorials. I was going to get the photos and when I seen there were already some there I didn't want to complicate the issue any further.

Thanks for the doing the edits!
Are you related? I've run across people who spell their last name as Westfall and wonder if this is an alternate spelling and if the families are related. Any thoughts?

Lewis & Karen Kleveland
Thanks for the memorials on these two people.
They are husband and wife and you might want to link them together. Kim Haukoos provided me with the grave photo's which are posted.
You only put their year of birth and death.

Karen was born January 10,1871 in Skjold Norway.
She married Lewis Kleveland January 10,1895
They 8 children (4 boys & 4 girls)
She died July 8, 1948

On Lewis I only know his birth date was June 20,1868 and was born in Norway. Since I don't have his obituary I don't know the date of his death but you have the year.

Just some information for you. Thanks again for the memorials.

Memorial #46838089 is a duplicate that you created after the original. Please delete this memorial to eliminate duplication and confusion. Thank you.

Waltman in Lake Belt MN cem
I wanted to let you know that I made two slow visits to the cem today and could not find the folks for whom you requested photos. I did find one Waltman couple and I will be either adding photos or making new entries tomorrow but not the folks you wanted. I am not able to do a lot of walking so there may be flat to the ground away from the roads markers that I did not see. I don't expect to be going back but perhaps someone else will find them.
