The work that I put into doing the research on the memorials I have added, I hope that down the road the relatives will find it valuable...

Please request permission to use my headstone photos for other websites!!!!

Also, I do use some of my own personal photos as offerings for memorials.

RE: Purkerson Cemetery, Hwy 945, San Jacinto Co., TX
Thanks for the quick response. I guess I will have to just stop in there one of these days. I've noticed a number of little cemeteries on Hwy 945 on my way to this place or that. I love this Find A Grave stuff and try to add memorials when I have time. Take care.

Purkerson Cemetery, Hwy 945, San Jacinto Co., TX

I moved to this area in May 2014 and have noticed the little Purkerson Cemetery on my way to Cleveland, TX many times. I've been meaning to stop there but it's kind of isolated and I'm usually in a hurry.
I noticed you created some memorials for that cemetery on this site. Would these be all of the burials in this cemetery? Have you pretty much done all of the burials in Coldspring/Cleveland area? Thank you for all of the work you've done.
Take care,
Grave Whisperer

Darwyn G Maywald
Thank you so much for posting the photographs of the tombstone for Darwyn. They are lovely, and very much appreciated. I'm working on a book on the Maywald Family of Texas & Descendants and may have room (I hope) to use tombstone photos. May I have your permission to use your photographs please. I also give credit when I receive information, so if using the photos is okay how would you like your work to be cited? Several Find A Grave contributors only want their name with their Find A Grave member no., others want all their information included. My citation is "Photograph courtesy of D.E. Beeson, Find A Grave Member #xxxxxxx, copyright" (I'll use the symbol in the book).

My grandmother was Eva Maywald, born in Plantersville. All the Maywalds in Texas are related so this book has turned in to a set of encyclopedias. LOL

Thanks again for the lovely photos.

RE: Mount Ephraim Cemetery
Just noticed on the death certificate that he died at Mount Ephraim so that confirms my belief that it was an actual community. Which means that there might be a cemetery there with a different name. Will let you know what I find. Thanks again.

RE: Mount Ephraim Cemetery
Appreciate your help. We will just keep searching, I guess. I have a feeling it might have been one of the older cemeteries that no one knows about now or it might be one that changed names.

Mount Ephraim Cemetery
You have a listing for John Elder buried in this cemetery in Upshur County, Texas. I wondered if you have any idea where it might be located. No one in Upshur county has ever heard of this cemetery. Thanks for your help as we are trying to catalog all of the county cemeteries.
