I grew up in Basehor, Kansas, now live in Leavenworth, and retired in 2002 from the Department of Justice after 20 years of service. My dad (memorial 25168116) was an Army veteran of WWI and WWII, and my brother (memorial 3613811) a Veteran of WWII and Korea. I am so thankful and appreciative of our Military and love spending time in our National Cemeteries here in Leavenworth.
Family names I'm interested in: Nance/Hein/Marxen Stephenson/Strubelt Woodcock/Goss/Credille (from NC/GA)
Any incorrect submissions were not done intentionally. I am not into "numbers", so if anyone would like transfers, please let me know and I would be more than happy to do that for you unless it is my family member or very close friend. If you are asking for a transfer, please give me your member number.

 | Garrett Followup Joyce,
I just read your bio. Would you mind transferring these to memorials to me as they are my grandparents? I would love it if you really don't worry about your "numbers".

 | Garret Grave Joyce,
Thank you so much for taking the pictures of Pauline and Roy Garret's stones and posting them. This is my grandmother and her husband and I haven't been to this cemetery in forever. I so appreciate not only you taking them but how quickly you did it.
Regards,

 | RE: L R McCann If I could parrot your e-mail and get away with it, I would.
It is so nice to get a sincere "Thank You" and just as nice to give one.
So, Thank You, again.

 | Your message Thank-you for your kind correspondence. I was crying before I finished your note. Several of my family are disheartened as **** manages most of our relatives due to a book she wrote and does not want to do edits as her book info will be incorrect and not up to date. I am the only one of us that knows HTML so will eventually link to our family members instead of the memorial numbers we are having to list in the bio. There is always "a way around the barn!" We are saddened that our family members will not have the bio that only our family could create for each family member. There is a reason for everything. We have had the help of the most giving and wonderful individuals on F.A.G. and the actions of one are not what we will dwell upon. Your words will be sent to everyone of my family members which will raise their spirits. We all felt like F.G.A. black sheep. You have no idea how your words lifted my very soul. I can't stop crying. Thank-you so very much. God Bless you, Constance | | | | [View all messages...] |
