Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Pennsylvania native with roots going back over 300 years. My goal in genealogy is to identify and profile all my ancesters who made it to the USA. Have passed the half way mark in that quest. Enjoy meeting distant kin and associating with students of family history. Have recently embarked on DNA matching to supplement and enrich family documentation.

Amor Bain Memorial Page
Hi Dick,
Please let me know if the photo is O.K., or if I should pull it.
It is the best that I have at this time for Amor. Mt Moriah has over 700 photo requests. When I added the GAR Memorial, F-A-G said that I had filled someones request. So I sent in a new request for the real marker myself.
Best Wishes.
Glenn

I did not find a footstone just the headstone. If you are sure there should be a footstone contact the cemetery and ask them they should know. Let me know

Hurd Grave Photo Request
Hi, Dick. I fulfilled your request today for Rita Hurd. While I was there, I noticed Paul Klein's name on the marker so I added the photos on his Find A Grave memorial as well. I also noticed there was no memorial for Melissa Jean Hurd so I created one and posted the photos there as well.

Misc.
Dick - My e-mail is messed up, can receive but not send. Trying to work a bug out. Check out my profile page and also my new write up on Flora Viana Rakestraw-Schoening (75613124)

Have been working on my Grandmother's Merritt and Litz families. The Litz family is way beyond huge. One branch of that tree is two to three times the size of the combined Schoening-Rakestraw tree. If You have a couple weeks with nothing to do, start with my G-Grandmother Charlotte Litz-Merritt (on Find A Grave of course) and start surfing and keep in mind we are no where close to a finish on this family.

Anyway please look at Flora and let me know with any adds, deletes or otherwise.

Merry Christmas - Tom

Harry E Rhine
Many thanks for your confirmation. I'm looking at the Isaac & Emma Rhine family for a dear friend who is like my 2nd mother. Her mother is Harry's youngest sister. We are trying to find 12 or 13 siblings. Noticed that Harry's wife is buried in Rose Hill. I will try to find where and get a picture since she is in your line. May take a little bit since the weather here is getting more like winter. Thanks for all your help and Merry Christmas to you!

Harry Elwood Rhine
I was wondering if you had any information on Harry Elwood Rhine #3625301 I see you are the current owner of his record. I was wondering if you have any info as to if his parents were Isaac R and Emma J Rhine from Blair county PA? I see he was born in Altoona and that is where Isaac and Emma lived. They had a son Harry E per the 1900 census, but the birth year is off a little. Thanks for any info you can give.

Schnelker
Hi! I transferred the Schnelker memorials to you. I was going through some old e-mails and noticed that you mentioned they are your wife's ancestors.

Glen Haven, Winter Park, FL
I'm sending you this message because I see you have a photo request for Glen Haven in Winter Park. This cemetery refuses to provide a plot location, citing "invasion of privacy" and requires a notarized letter from the family to provide information which is usually freely given upon request by every other cemetery I've been to. This is SO frustrating for photo volunteers, and those simply requesting a photo of a grave.

I just sent an email to the Florida Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association in Tallahassee to complain about Glen Haven's refusal to provide plot locations, and how they treat volunteers. Perhaps something can be done if enough people complain.

Their website is ffda.org and the email address I sent it to is: DJessup@executiveoffice.org
