My name is Michelle L Waite, maiden name is Thomas and I live in souther De with my children and husband. I have family in Pa and Alabama, my husbands is mostly in De and Md. We are all a bit curious and interested in history, grave sites, and most things long forgotten by others. Ghost towns, hunted areas, abandoned places and we visit ones in our general area as often as we can ''Centralia Pa'. If anyone needs a picture or information on a grave or place in this area, Id be happy to do what I could to help you out . I have a blogging web sight also that I hope you'll visit. when I found findagrave.com, I also signed up to do some free lance volunteer photography for the sight in my area. I have claimed 7 graves to photograph and I have found and submitted 6 and have signed up to do additional ones. I'm excited about going on my hunt to find these cemetery's and final resting places for the loved ones who are requesting them. As I said earlier, my family enjoys getting out and exploring history and things long forgotten by others. There is a ton of history in your cemetery's and we will be exploring it all on our journey .

I am working on the Carey genealogy - can you tell me if Addison Carey in your memorials had a great grandfather named David Carey & a great grandmother by the name of Edna?

Thanks for your message. No, I didn't know Karen. I just do interments from The Philadelphia Inquirer for certain cemeteries.
I transferred Karen's memorial to you. It's in better hands that way. :-)
As for the picture issue: I've had problems with that from time to time. Are they digital pictures? If so, you can re-size the pictures in your camera and then re-load them on to your computer. If not, try scanning them at a lower pixel rate. If all else fails, check out the photo editing options in your computer's photo editing software. Many times there is an option where you can lower the pixels so your file will fit onto the site.

Today my husband and I went to Stockley Center Cemetery and did a full transcription with photographs. I uploaded a picture of your cousin's stone for you until you can get there. Her stone really stands out with the flowers, figurines and the "love" rock.
The cemetery was full of butterfiles today and even a few deer passing by, she is in a beautiful place and I can tell she was a beautiful girl.
