RE: Josephus P. Bosworth
Tom, sorry for the delay. It seems that all the data on the headstone that I provided for J P Bosworth matches up to the date of death for "your" Bosworth according to the website you provided. I was on a mission to SW Ohio last April to find all the Bosworth stones I could. I actually happened upon this cemetery (Crossroads) on my way to another cemetery in Meigs County, Ohio, and was very excited to find who I can only guess to be Josephus Pettibone Bosworth. Dates match up and Emily is his wife according to many resources I have found on the Web. To my recollection, there wasn't a military stone in this cemetery with his name on it. Meigs Ohio is approximately 30 miles away from Albany and I'm not sure why he isn't buried in Meigs because, according to 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 censuses, he and Emily lived there. The only thing I can deduce is that they moved sometime between 1880 and his death in 1893. (She died in 1881). I know this is alot of info to tell you that I don't know...
