RE: Pearl Finch Lee
As for Miss Pearl. I will go back and get a better picture. I had to dig hers out of the mud and didn't really have anything to work with other than my hands and a pen. I'll wash it off and get a better picture. It seems the landscapers drive through with large tractors and run over a lot of the stones that are flat on the ground. Many are broken that shouldn't be because of it. Her stone is in a spot that is constantly driven over due to the tread marks from tires. Many stones around her were broken in half.

Take care,
Kris

RE: Wagoner Lee in TN
The cemetery has his name spelled Waggoner. And they sent me to the right area but the layout is funky. I went past him a million times it seems. There are some stones in that section that need to be dug out due to overgrowth and mud. I hope they don't mind when I walk in there someday with a shovel. :-) I'm glad I found him. I am excited to get back into hunting. It's been too long and I can use the exercise lord knows.

take care,
Kris

Wagoner Lee in TN
Hi Ms. Shulder,

I FOUND HIM!!! It took me 2 weeks and lots of cussing but I finally found him. The cemetery office had his name spelled wrong on their records and plus the cemetery is unmarked when it comes to grids. But I found him. He is placed on the Wagoner side of the stone and on the Wagoner Lee side of the stone is Pearl Finch-Lee and W.R. Lee. I'll add those as well. What a great hunt. Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Take care,
Kris aka mslomilomi

Thanks for the information on Pvt Jones. I also located a death certificate and interment record and added that to his memorial.

RE: Iva Ridings gravestone

You are very welcome. I also made a photo of Joyce (Mattie) Beatrice Hansard Childs gravestone. Please let me know if there is something else I can help you with.

Phyllis, I talked to the owners of Clearview Cemetery, and they don't expect the DOD to be engraved until sometime later this year. It's been snowing & raining here, so the person who would sandblast the date would most likely wait until we have better weather. Also, someone would have to pay to have it done. It's no problem finding the headstone. Just have to wait until the date is inscribed.
