RE: any relation
I am distantly related through the Fields line in Ray County, Missouri. My direct ancestor is Ebenezer Fields and through his son, James Monroe Fields. I believe most of the Fields in that area are all related! I try to leave flowers on all that I come across and Pearly was one I happened upon and unfortunately have no research on him. Thank you for contacting me! Dianne

RE: Charles Edward Worthington
His plot is marked by an x on the map. It's in block C, lot 22, grave 5 of the Minonk Cemetery.

RE: Charles Edward Worthington
His memorial was deleted, as was the one for Mary Worthington. I don't have an obit for her. Cheers.

RE: Charles Edward Worthington
I can just as easily delete my memorial for your ancestor. Here is his obituary, if you want it:

C. E. Worthington, who left Minonk two months ago to make his home with a daughter at Aurora, died there last night. Recently he had suffered two strokes of apoplexy.

The body will be brought to Minonk and services will be held at the Tallyn chapel Friday afternoon at 2:30, with burial in Minonk cemetery. Rev Thomas Bartram, pastor of the M. E. church at Roanoke, will be in charge.

Mr Worthington was born at Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 4, 1850, but as a child he came to Illinois and he had since lived in Woodford county, excepting for two years spent in Nebraska and six years in Michigan.

He was married in Greene township, Woodford county, on Oct 23, 1873, to Mary Jane Ruddell, who passed away on May 28, 1928. Mr Worthington farmed for a while but during most of his. life he worked as a carpenter. They came to Minonk to live in 1920.

There were three children, of whom one son, William A., died in 1903. Two daughters survive, Mrs Olive M. Zirkle of Aurora, and Mrs L. Fern Jochums of Benson. There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

RE: John Bales
Donna, I have not came up with anything solid on John's parents, Perry and Elizabeth. I did locate a new web address today regarding John Bales Genealogy-It is Kowallikfamily.com. They have death dates for both Perry and Elizabeth but I don't know how true they are.
