RE: Transfer management
Hi, To request transfers you need to either go through the edit link on the top right of the memorial page itself or at least send me their names. There is no way that I know of to search by memorial numbers.

RE: Robert Allison - Newspaper ad
No, I'm not kin. Try searching Pike County newspapers that are in "Chronicling America" (CA), which is where I found that notice. CA has three titles in Pike County: The Radical and the Salt River Journal, both of Bowling Green, Mo., and the Democratic Banner of Louisiana, Mo. I'm sure the Missouri Historical Society has many later issues on microfilm. (CA only imaged a tiny percentile of US newspapers). (Google "Missouri Historical Society Microfilm Newspapers"). They loan out microfilm newspapers on interlibrary loans, but it's time-consuming to read them cover-to-cover if you have no specific dates to search for.

RE: Captain George Haskell
George's headstone is lying face down, that's why you can't read it.

A pleasure.

Hi Carolyn,
I went down & took a photograph of the marker today. It is now posted along with his tombstone photo.

It is a marker placed by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

RE: Tony Carollo
I replied a couple of days ago, but they are filtering that message. No, he is not on Ferry Hill. Yes, it was damaged by someone, don't know when. Yes to all other questions, I have seen it with my own eyes.

Tony Carollo
Hi, I am not able to link Tony to his parents because I don't manage Tony's memorial page. The links are made from children to parents, not parents to children. But I did add his name and memorial number in the biographical section for each of his parents. Try contacting the person who created his memorial to get him linked properly. If that doesn't work make a request with the Find a Grave managers.

RE: Tony Carollo
You are welcome. There is a small picture of Tony on his marker, but it was messed with some time ago and is hard to see. I visited all three Corollo graves yesterday. Tony is right up at the top of the hill behind his parents who are down in the front row in block 17. Glad it helped out.

RE: josephine harris
My cousin Jannette Harris did extensive research on the Allison and Carroll family lines. I only have a couple of photos and have no idea what she may have found. She boxed all her information up and sent it to her brother Glenn Allison Harris in Atlanta. I can give you his gmail address if you like but not here. Hope this turns out to be helpful. Have you used the Carroll or Allison books? They have a wealth of information.
