|Louise Jeter||Spouse of Pinkard Foster|
You have Sarah Appel as Pinkard's spouse but she is his daughter-in-law, married to son, Oliver. It's so easy to get them all confused; lots of Dysons and Choats and Fosters marrying one another.
Pinkard's wife is Missouri Dyson; she's still alive in 1880, living with daughter, Matilda, and her husband. Other extended family are in the household also.

I think your Pinkard Foster and my great grandfather William Foster b. 1817 New York City, NY
possibly brothers or cousins?
I appreciate you passing it on. I am trying to
contact a William H. Foster who gave Pinkard Foster
as DNA contact to my son Curtis L. Webb. Webb's were from Tennessee to Missouri to California.

|Diane L. Teague Webb||Pinkard Foster|
In Family Tree DNA.com my son Curtis L. Webb tested as a match with Pinkard Foster. Could it be on my mother Vivian V. Foster side her grandfather was William Foster b. 1808 New York City d. 1879
Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL.? I am wondering if my William Foster was brother of this Pinkard Foster.
He is found New York City, NY., then Wheeling, Virginia, Cincinnati, Ohio then up the Mississippi River to Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL. 1850 Federal Census Oquawka, Henderson Co., IL. occupation
Engineer. I think boat engineer not railroad since
he is always living in river towns. 1/w Mandana Townsend 2/w Elizabeth Ellen Lathrop (my mother's line). In 1879 William Foster dies leaving Elizabeth Ellen Foster with 8 kids and pregnant
with 9th. They leave Illinois for Ionia, Michigan
where her mother and sister's lived.
See William Foster in Find A Grave Oquawaka, Henderson Co., IL.
Hoping you have Foster ancestors.
Diane L. Webb

In doing some research on Dyson family, I found Peter Robert Dyson with a picture of headstone. It has a birth date on it, but the date on the record is completely different. Can it be changed, to agree with headstone. Or is the headstone incorrect?... Thanks for your attention. Hazel Roberts - Cupples.

Hi Eddie - Thanks for replying. I'm sorry to hear your wife was in the hospital. Will be thinking of you both. Don't worry about this and if you need any help with it just holler. There is some info about it in the FAQs and on the forums also. If you scroll through my messages, contributor Connie A. has left a link to section in the FAQs about it. Also, Bill and Elaine Schrock have a link on their page also. Again, my best wishes to you and your wife. Take care.

HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.
