MacKenzie Memorials
Hi, I went ahead and allowed your edits to the MacKenzie memorials, would you like me to transfer management to you as I have no connection with the family other than taking the photo you requested?
Regards, Rick

Vredenburg memorials
I transferred managment for all the Vredenburgs I have found and added to Findagrave.

Sunset Cemetery, and East yard Cemetery (part of the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown ) and of course Old Baptist Church/Yorktown Church cemetery.
If I encounter others I'll let you know.It is my pleasure to help.

RE: Sally Ann Field -Vredenburgh
Of course..absolutly. Check my memorials for other Vredenburgh graves I have found in the area. If you would like I can transfer the memorials to you .
I photographed the entire Old Baptist church (Yorktown Church) cemetery using a transcript from 1907 from the Yorktown Museum.

RE: Harry Dallenger
Beautiful picture. I'm going to be deleting my entry now.

Thank you for letting me know about the dupe, etc.

RE: Harry Dallenger
I'm not having any luck finding the article that I had gotten the information from. It could have been a misprint--- or I could have read it wrong. It's hard to say.

Would you have any idea what Infantry division he would have been in???

I can take the information out if need be.

RE: Harry Dallenger
I only see one entry for him. The death record came from old newspaper articles I had been going thru at one time. I'll see if I can find that again.

Maybe the Dutchess County records might help, I do know that this is a big farming community. Many Quakers were here too. Let me know if you need anything else. Best wishes.

John Smith?
John F Smith he is buried not even six miles from the place that your family is located, can he be apart of that same family? If so I will send you his memorial as well. He is buried in wingdale NY, or Union Vale as we all call it here. Alisa

You are more than welcome
I have corrected Walters name and I will send you his memorial. There is one more Smith left to that group as they were all located together.I am sending him to you as well. This cemetery where they lay is very very old, and many of the stones kind of slip into the ground and many can not be read by the names or dates, civil war, and Revolutionary war vets are here. Its amazing I had to take as many pictures as I could. I feel so bad to think so many of these people will be forgotten. I am SO pleased that you found your link. If you need anything else from me from that cemetery let me know as soon as the snow melts I will go and get the pictures you need, or at least look for them,. Best regards, Alisa
