I have been interested in history, and genealogy since I was a child. |
I think it is important to honor those that have gone before us.

You're welcome, Daniel. And thanks for letting me know so that I don't have to keep checking back. Much appreciated! -- Jay

I'm Jim Clark's son Mike and we were friend of the family's for many years, I remember you when you were young, your sister Karin and your mother Wilma & father John. What a surprise it was when I heard that Wayne was murdered. We got along good and he wanted me to join the club.
i transferred the kester memorial to you as i am a bit rusty on connecting folks to other folks.
Update complete :)

HI Daniel, After looking for my grandmother's gave site for years, I finnaly found that she had been moved in 1920 to be next to my grandfather. Thank you for adding the info on my grandfather. By the way, are you going to be doing a DNA study for Cahill? Barb

I will need your Find A Grave ID number.

I have transfered the memorial for Mr. Cahill to you. Glad he's found a home. My goal was to create memorials for everyone in the cemetery in Truckee. My hope was that they would each be adopted by someone else. Thanks for reaching out to me.

I am related to Phillip Cahill & Mary Elizabeth McGuires daughter Catherine Cahill which is my 3rd grt grandmother and she married my Richard Fleming Holmes. Their daughter Elizabeth Holmes married Fayette Schoonover my 2nd grt grandparents then down to my grt grandfather Richard Holmes Schoonover. My Fayette Schoonovers father Joseph Schoonover and family are burried in the Pioneer cemetery in Kenton, OH, which you might be familiar with as they wrongfully turned it into a childs playground. At one point they even wanted to dig up and put in a pool until they started digging up more graves and were told to stop. The city tried to say graves were transferred to the Grove cemetery but weren't. I, along with alot of other families are upset with what has happened there. I plan to be in Ohio in May and will make a stop at the city to say what they have to say.

I have to applaud you on what a good job you've done with our Cahill family. Where did you come up with so many of the pictures? My Cahills start out with Philip Cahill and Elizabeth McGuire - their dau married into my Holmes. All grandparents.
