RE: Holy Assumption
Thanks, George. Did you ever learned what townland or Parish John Smith came from? Was it Aghabog or Ematris or Tedavet parish?

Holy Assumption church photo.
Hi George, We've talked in the past. I'm glad that you put the photo of the church up. Do you know where the church was located? Was it next to the cemetery? I didn't see it when I was there and think it was long gone, but wondered where it was. Was the name the same as the cemetery? Just wondering. Dona McPhillips

John McDonald
I was wondering if you had any info on John McDonald who died in 1882? I'm trying to figure out if he is the brother of Margaret McDonald (1818-1899) who married a Thomas Ryan in the Blanchardville, WI area. Maybe his parents' names or anything at all. Thanks for your help.

What a great picture of the church. Wonder if my family is in it?
Thanks for sharing

I am not related to Timothy Quinn's descendants. My John Quin(n) immigrated with his wife's family the Lenahan's around 1852 from Leitrim County, Ireland. They first moved to Mineral Point where the Lenahan's stayed and then John and his wife Catharine Lenahan Quinn moved and raised their family in Kendall Township (Truman area). I have not been able to trace John Quinn back to Ireland. Very familiar with the McDonald's as some of my McKillip family married with the McDonald's. At some point I think most of Lafayette county is related in one way or another. Thanks for sharing your info.

RE: Joseph Catterlin stone
Good afternoon George.

I took this picture in August of last year, it was my first trip to the cemetery, but the stone looked like it had been recently added. I hope this info helps!
