|C.C.Diamond||ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest|
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

I have a picture of their stone that I have not reduced the size yet...I know it's hard to read so if you would like me to send it to you let me know. Were they are buried is one of the most beautiful cemetery view I have seen. It was so peaceful! And I got to see a big jack rabbit. It was a great day!
|Kristin Thomas||Albert Martin|
I misspelled Albert's last name in the previous email but wanted you to know the information was still accurate. The cemetery office (funeral home) stated they also had information on an Albert Martin born 1916 died 2002, but stated "cemetery unknown" for this Albert. Sorry
|Kristin Thomas||Albert Marting Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg, KS|
After contacting the cemetery office, they had record of an Albert Martin whom died in 2003 (born in 1925) but showed he was cremated and "Mt Olive Cemetery is the scatter location". Hope this helps.
Just checking to make sure you were still an active member.... I've sent you a few additions, but am not sure you have gotten them. Sherry

|C Wilson||Jesse Carroll Crouch ~ Arledge Ridge|
I walked this cemetery on 11-6; but I didn't find a marker for Jesse Crouch.
Actually ... I was not surprised. According to the TexGenWeb Site for Fannin County, Jesse Carroll Crouch is at rest in the Lindsey (Randolph) Cemetery and not the Arledge Ridge Cemetery.
FYI ... while I haven't seen them, he apparently has two markers in Lindsey-Randolph, one being a marker acknowledging his Marine Corps service; but a discrepancy is cited between the two markers as to his date of birth. One is inscrbed October 19, 1927; and the other is inscribed November 9, 1925.

The St. Mary's Cemetery is actually embedded in the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. There is a 3rd cemetery combined as well which often makes it difficult to track down headstones. Bath-Naylor Funeral Home houses the records for both these cemeteries. Highland Park records are computerized but the St. Mary's records are not and they have to bring out a map for you to search on your own for the plot owner's name which also makes it difficult because it doesn't show everyone buried in that plot. The phone # for Bath-Naylor is 620-231-4700 and you should probably ask for Ashley. Highland Park Cemetery also has a phone # 620-231-2570 but the maintenance guys are the only ones who answer the phone and they aren't always in the building. Chris is the head of maintenance and has been with that cemetery for awhile and would probably be your best bet. If you are willing to do some of the legwork, I would be happy to help. I just don't have much time to do much during the day or week due to my job. I will do what I can to help. Let me know.
