1860 Census
John and Emily Walker are found in the 1860 US Census of Wayne County, Tennessee. They are in the household of his parents, William B and Ann Walker.

RE: Archibald Shelby
I do believe the Archibald Shelby of this memorial and the Archibald Shelby on the gravestone pictured are not the same person. One says b. 1823, and one says b. 1840.

Sandy Whittington
McLarty Cemetery
It will probably be cleaned in Nov. or Dec. by the county cemetery commission. We'll also be repairing those broken Polk markers and re-setting them.

Thanks so much for the picture of Daniel O'Rear's grave in Macedonia Cemetery. He was my great-great-great grandfather.

Watson Cemetery in Douglasville
Danny - Where is the Watson Cemetery in Douglasville located? You are credited with two Polk photos there. I will be in that area this weekend and could fulfill a few outstanding photo requests, but there is no map of the lcoation and the latitude/longitude is not set.

Mary A. Holland
Danny, thank you very much for taking the photo of the headstone of Mary Holland. She is my 3rd-Great- Grandmother. I really appreciate your help. By the way, were you able to read the epitaph at the bottom of the stone? Thanks again!
