I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to identify the last resting place of our "Old Soldiers" that had ties to Vt. Oliver Berry Cason is one such patriot. May I use the photo that you contributed to his Find A Grave Memorial, to post on the Vt. C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

I would imagine that in view of that time frame, I have deleted it. My husband had major cancer surgery just 3 wks after that date. I will see if I can find the original again.

Okay, will ck out my files on my external drive. I pull off my regular PC about every 6 mos or so. Will have to go to Find A Grave site and get her birth & death dates then work from there.

Timmy, I am drawing a blank. Can you tell me about how long ago this was so I can know where to search for the death certificate?

I am working with a gentleman who is trying to prove the relationship between his grandmother and Collin McKinney...a pioneer settle of Collin Co. TX. This gentleman's grandmother was Helen Gertrude McKinney Hortman. According to some old information he found, the line is as follows: Collin McKinney > William C. McKinney > Charles William (not Charles A.) > Helen McKinney. He's got the marriage with JoAnn McFelea right. Other children besides Helen are Collin, "Boss", Marion Franklin,Cora and Lida.

Chronologically, there has to be another generation between Charles William? or Charles A. and Helen McKinney. According to my research, that's Marion and Margaret. The trouble is, who is Marion? According to http://www.starmuseum.org/signers_descendants/McKinney/rr_toc.htm there's nary a Marion at all in the family. So either there's a wayward son not mentioned in the Collin McKinney Family Tree, or this gentleman's family lore is not quite true.

Help! You may email me at j.odle@netzero.com if it's more convenient. Thank you, Julia
