Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching all the World War I veterans buried in Tucson for The Great War American Doughboy Search. Many are already on Findagrave.com. I have located over 1,500 and I haven't been to all the sections of the cemeteries in Tucson.

Tucson is unique because it was the destination for health seekers who suffered from tuberculosis and other lung ailments, then it became a popular retirement destination. Anything having to do with the United States involvement in WWI has someone associated with the event or place buried in Tucson. My Facebook page " The Great War Doughboy Search:Tucson and WWI" has updates on the project.

I have been doing researching my own family since 1973. I love my ancestors and I am grateful for the sacrifices they made for their descendants and for our freedom.

Your recently made a find a grave for the above 2 names. They are my husbands great grandparents. Could you please transfer them to me to maintain & for me to do updates for the family. I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Sorry Jeannie, the back of the picture does not say where he is at only that he returned from a ride with two flat tires. I do know he spent a tour in Hawaii

You are most likely right on the dates. I have never seen his death records, but it is very possible. I think I got my information from the on line military records, I will check to see, and change the dates if your information is correct. I will also ask his son if he knows. Wish my grandmother was still here, she would know in a heart beat.
Thank you very much
Gayle
