I have been researching my mother's side of the family ROHM for about 15 years now. I have met alot of the family through the internet. I have been adding more and more to the tree such as photos and newspaper clippings. It is just something I do as a hobby and to get to know 2nd, 3rd and 4th cousins.

Emily Jackson grave photo.
I posted a problem under your request for Emily's stone pic. She has no stone. Large plot of Jackson's there and her husband, but none for her we can see. I can take the entire plots pics if you need, but I don't think she has a marked grave unless it is a small stone under his that is marked also MJJACKSON but date is gone. Let me know anything I can further do to help you.

RE: Thank you
yes it is possible they are buried in the same spot - there is a right of second interment that can be obtained. I see this more than you would think in older graves, especially with young ones

RE: Thank you
Louis is not buried with his parents, but in an infant section. Very few of these are marked. Actually the cemetery records show both both John and Lewis in this small grave - is it possible there were twins? I do have the plotting of the section and it also indicates there is no marker, but I always go out to double ck.

RE: Ray's Cove
I am sure that you have never been to the old Ray's Hill Cemetery because now that I searched it out and know where it is, I find that I used to go past it at least once a week, when we went to Petro Truck Plaza to pick our son up off the truck. If you know anything about Breezewood, Pa., you know that it used to be called the town of Motels and that is where I 70 comes from the South and it is also a Turnpike Exit. The Cemetery is very old and as you enter the road to Petro Truck Plaza, just before you get to the Truck Plaza you make a right up a dirt road and go to the top of the hill and there it sits overlooking I 70. If you ever get back East again and want to go there, I would be willing to meet you in Breezewood and take you to it. Glad I got my thoughts together and remembered taking those pics. Hope you found them ok on that site. Hannah

RE: Mellott's at Rays Cove
Bingo!! I have found the Mellott's that have been requested since last fall. In the back of my mind, I remembered seeing a bunch of Mellott's when I was looking for another grave and just by chance took pics of them. In comparing the names, Bingo, I hit pay dirt. These Mellott's are not at Ray's Cove Christian Church Cemetery, but are in the Ray's Hill Cemetery (Old) at Breezewood, Bedford County, Pa. You can go to that site and you will find the pics that I took last fall of them, as I have posted. Glad, I got that one figured out. Hannah

RE: Mellott's at Rays Cove
Jeannie, Do you also live around this area? I was also there last fall when the Mellott's were first posted and looked and could not find them either. I went back to look for the new one posted there this week and was able to find it, but still no Mellott's. My husband said that this should be called the Foor Cemetery, because most of the people buried there are Foor's. I am not sure how to get ahold of anyone who has a register of that cemetery. I do have a friend who is a Foor and she may be able to tell me who is in charge of it. I will check with her. If you are around here and know of anyone, please let me know. Hannah
