RE: The Rehlings
Thank you!

Yes, I don't know if my mother has a current membership with Ancestry. She has photos and things, but I don't think they're online and they're more recent and from my father's side.

I would be really interested in seeing any other photos you have of the Rehlings! I would expect that Martha and Joseph were probably the first ones to be photographed, but do you know if their parents or children had their pictures taken? Do you know any more information about the pictures of Martha and Joseph?

As far as the genealogy goes, I was able to go ridiculously far back on Martha's side. I think I made it to the late 1600s with certainty because one man fought in the Revolutionary War, but I also found a family tree that went back to the 1300s. I'm not sure if that one is accurate at all! Do you know anything about Joseph's family history? He was a dead end for me because all I could find was that he was born in Prussia.

I hope this isn't too much! I would love any information you have, but I don't want you to go out of your way for me. Thank you!

The Rehlings
Hi Gail, I am a great great great grandchild of Martha and Joseph Rehling and I recently became interested in genealogy. I wanted to thank you for adding pictures and information about them and their relatives!

RE: Margaret Florence
That's the type of info I need. Thanks. Do you know what paper it was published in so I can note that too?

Could you please tell me the source for her place of death? I'm not finding proof on ancestry.

RE: Charles Nelson
Hi Gail ~ unfortunately, most children were not named in the records, just called "child of". The 'Child of Charles Nelson' in the directory in lot 409 died or was interred June 21, 1886, so it sounds like it might be Olive. It is memorial #135512604. It is possible the other child is there, also, but no way to know anymore without a headstone. This cemetery had a fire over a hundred years ago that destroyed records from that particular era, and unfortunately many people did not put in markers all the children's graves. It is very lucky to have the record for the one in 1886, as only a handful of records exist from that time. Hope that helps!

Are you related? I am not. I'd be happy to transfer. Also, do you have a death date?

Hi, I don't know what your interest in Ada is, but I'm living in their Ryderwood, WA home! Hard to believe they crammed their big family into this house!
