Patrick and Rebecca Wilson Memorials
This is a copy of a message I sent to William Lyle Mercer.

Re: Patrick and Rebecca Wilson memorials.

William,

Well, the good news is Tien Le says Patrick and Rebecca are actually buried in Neshannock and not United - just simply made a mistake. As far as I'm concerned, no problem.

The bad news is there are now two sets of Patrick and Rebecca Wilson memorials in Neshannock. By my count, that's one too many. I'll let you and Tien Le duel it out for whose memorials remain.

Patrick and Rebecca Wilson Memorials

Re: Patrick and Rebecca Wilson memorials.

William,

I'm totally confused and need your help and here's why.

1. You created memorials for Patrick and Rebecca (Morehead) Wilson in the Neshannock Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Patrick has a birth date of 1772 and a death date of 1866. Rebecca has a birth date of 1786 and a death date of 1859.

2. I have a copy of a book published in 1907 showing a partial list of the burials in Neshannock. Both Patrick and Rebecca are listed. Patrick has a death date of 04 Jan 1866, Age 94 yrs. Rebecca has a death date of 08 Feb 1850, Age 64 yrs.

3. I have a newspaper death announcement for Rebecca claiming a death date of 08 Feb 1850.

4. Tien Le has created memorials for Patrick and Rebecca in the Neshannock United Presbyterian Cemetery. There is a photograph of a monument with Patrick's and Rebecca's name on it. Patrick died 04 Jan 1866, Age 94 yrs. and Rebecca died 08 Feb 1859.

Where are Patrick and Rebecca buried? Were they originally buried in Neshannock and then disinterred and re-buried in United? Is the monument in United a cenotaph?

I'm sending this message to Tien Le as well.

RE: Mount Hope Cemetery
I hesitated to visit the place yesterday. Weather was OK but the place is really overgrown this time of the year. Not best conditions for getting full shots of stones.
It is a dangerous hike.
There is a fallen/broken stone near the same family and I took a shot of it as it is, and another showing a foot stone with initials H. K. A search in the cemetery had I think 3 hits with those initials and one being the person you seek.
I would need a buddy there with me to flip the stone to then take photos.
I added about 50 memorials with my photos, plus photos to existing memorials from my visit yesterday.
I could send the photos I did take of the fallen stone to your email?

RE: Caroline
I actually don't have any information about this memorial. The majority of the memorials I have entered in for the Secor Cemetery that were not my family members came from a genealogy listing which I am unsure if it was done by a walk-through or a cemetery record book. My recommendation would be to call Secor Cemetery. I would hope that they would have an accurate record as to whether she is buried with her husband or if someone walked through and took this information from a stone. Please let me know what you find out so I can update this memorial or delete it. Sorry that I can't be of more help!

RE: Gibsons
Your very welcome,Tien, just glad I found it, Elizabeth's stone had been toppeled and was lying on its back, and I got the best shot I could. Just happy you can enjoy it.
