Thank you so much for taking a photo of this couple. This has been my brick wall forever, I was beginning to think I would have to hop a plane (and I live in California!). I am a newcomer to this site. I know it wasn't intended for genealogy, but certainly the need is there and we have prevailed!! Yippee!!!!......

Thanks for the note about taking a picture for James M. Hamilton also. I had not seen it but was glad to have a copy of it.
James M. was Margaret's brother. Their parents were William T. Hamilton and Rachel Carline Holden.
The relationship's in these families gets very confusing. Rachel Holden was the daughter of Ann Beason Lewis. Ann was the sister to James Madison Field's first wife, Margaret Lewis. Thus, Margaret Hamilton was Margaret Lewis's grand niece.
