|R. Michael McGee||Clarissa and James|
I just noticed that husband and wife died one day apart. Do you know that story? A flu maybe? Iím no relation at all. I just love a mystery.

You bet!. Yes, quite a few.
|Nancy Meadows||RE: Erroreous Info for Levi Hagar|
I'll be happy to transfer Levi and Charlotte to you so you can edit as desired. I am aware of the supposition of them being buried on the farm, but it was also suggested that they may be buried in Huntsville Cem. I do have a note on there that burial there is uncertain.
Thanks for contacting me, and if you want transfers, please send a SAG for each.
|BJWeir||Sailors' Snug Harbor Mariners' Descendants|
I'm a descendant of a Sailors' Snug Harbor mariner and trying to find other descendants to inform them about the status of the Sailors' Snug Harbor Cemetery and the SSH Records Archives. I noticed that you had created a memorial for a SSH mariner (George Westerman), in the past. Let me know, if you are also a SSH descendant by contacting me at my email address (email@example.com) and I will send you the information about the SSH Cemetery and Records.

|BJWeir||George Westerman & Sailors Snug Harbor|
I noticed that you had created a nice memorial for George Westerman, who is interred at the Sailors' Snug Harbor Cemetery. Are you a descendant of George? I'm also a descendant of a mariner who resided at Sailors' Snug Harbor and is interred at the SSH Cemetery. If you are interested in more information about recent efforts regarding the status of SSH Cemetery and the SSH Records, you can contact me at the email address listed on my member name profile.

I was at a different cemetery in the area today doing other requests when I came across a Fuchs headstone. I took photos of it for in case they may be related. If you would like it I can email it to you, just need to know your email address.

I searched all of section A as you have lasted and did not see her stone. Unfortunately this cemetery has alot of gaffes unreadable or broken stones. Going by her dates shes likely one of the faded ones. I'm sorry. This cemetery also doesn't have any section or lot signs to narrow it down. I found a map showing sections so i just walked the whole thing.

It was the new cemetery manager who solved it, so I can't take credit for that, only for not giving up. Plot 9829 is marked on the plot maps of both squares 20 and 34 and is the biggest plot in that area. Its position also corresponds with other marked plots with known plot numbers. So you needn't worry - it is definitely the right one. Funny thing is, I kept eyeing that mausoleum and thinking "No it can't be that one because it is in the wrong square". Is the photo ok - do you want more?

I now know why I couldn't identify this mausoleum before - the wrong square number was recorded in the Burial Register. It is actually in square 20 (well most of it - the back of it overlaps into square 34). There is nothing written on it anywhere that I can see, the plot number is the only thing that positively identifies it.
