Marcy, You have James Edward Thomas born 1953 and died 1969 having a wife born in 1903 and a child born in 1921. His parents are Charles Edward Thomas and Martha Frances King, but the information is not consistent with the dates posted. Mary Elizabeth Abell Thomas
I'm curious. My great aunt, Elnora Spalding Phelan's mother was Alice Abell. Alice was born in Marion Co., KY.

Don't know if there is any connection, but the fact that both Mary and Alice were born in KY - there may be a connection.

Stout Dossett Cemetery
I am the Sexton of the Stout Dossett Cemetery on the Central Peninsula of Norris Reservoir. I would like to add some historical information about the cemetery. The Stout Dossett began as two cemeteries-the Stout & the Dossett. The Stout is the older section and precedes the Civil War. The Dossett was sold off in lots like a memorial gardenFifteen Union Veterans of the Civil War are buried at the Stout Dossett. I would really like to add much more material about the community and the cemetery, but the entry page does not seem to offer that option.

RE: James K Warfield
Of course, I certainly understand. Yet, it's great to find another realtive! Yes, we can exchange info.

I have been researching for some time now, but only more so since I retired 1-1/2 years ago. It's amazing how much one can find on the internet.

I have the Warfields going back a goodly distance. They were pretty prominent so very well documented.

I will gather some stuff in the next fews days and you email so I can send it your way.

My Gr-Grandfather is Uriah James Warfield. Uriah would be your James' 1st Cousin. Your James' father was named Henry. Henry is half-brother to James Rafter Warfield and this James is the father of my Gr-Grandfather Uriah.

I'm sure you already know this, but I just get so excited when I find more kin, albeit distant.

I will await your email.
