Name is spelled Nickolaus. Born July 23, 1860, Vilsbourg, Alsace lorraine, France to Andrea and Mary Klein. Immigrated to US in 1880. On Oct. 24, 1899, married Maude Sufficool, born 1880 near Verdigre, Nebr. to Erastus and Lucinda (Hathaway) Sufficool.
Sons: Dewey, 1900; Andrew 1906; Fred, Raymond ( 1918-1920) and Edwin.

Hello,
I confirmed with the cemetery office that there was no marker for Alice Sayer. I have posted the photo of the family lot where she is buried. I had transposed the number of the lot originally. I rechecked the info in the office, found my mistake, and was very disappointed to find that there was then no marker on the other lot. I confirmed that there was no stone indicated on the records. Rats!

The problem is pretty much as I stated. There is a stone in this area which has toppled over, so I cannot tell if it is Alice's stone or not. I am not certain there even is a stone for her which the cemetery office would be able to tell you. There are a surprising number of graves in this cemetery without headstones. So, if you could check with the cemetery to see if there is a stone, that would be a good starting place. (Trying to get them to upright it might be a task, in and of itself.) I am happy to take a photo of the area/plot with the toppled stone, but as I said, there is no certainty that it is her marker. So, the options I see are: photo of toppled stone in the plot or a note that I tried to search for the grave but was unable to identify it. Best, BonnieB | | | Sandy King
