I like the late Fall colors...send a letter to CH and get a location for his wife. Tell them you're coming for a visit. You should get some good info for your records. Let me know when you get this and I'll try to find her grave & marker.
Tis the season: Check out Carl Braatz at CH - you'll like this one.

Just wondering if your picture of this headstone was clear enough to read the inscription?

Thank you, Helen, for doing the edit. You seem to have done some work on the MILES family and I am happy to contribute in such a minor way. I love your young photo...so sweet!

I wonder if you would please transfer Bob's grandparent's to me. Nellie and Ennis Carter. I have put in a couple of corrections and would like to make dome additions as well. Thanks! ~Carole
Hi! I see you have a photo request for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I'm taking a trip there soon and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many requests as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to Carmelita Walker from CHC. She said she can't give locations of these sites to me since I'm not related but she said if you call her at 301-568-5400 & tell her that you're a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there's no charge for this information. If you could get the info soon (by 9/6) that would be great! If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

Thanks for the picture of Hugh Dixon's grave. I really appreciate your time and effort! Patti

You're welcome..sorry I couldn't do more!
Frank was not buried in the vicinity of Katherine. I'll check with the cemetery office to see if he is somewhere else in the same cemetery but I did not have his name with me. I won't have time to do it for a while (I'll be away for a month) but I'll get to it. Paul
I found his marker at Oakwood Cemetery but it was literally buried underground with an azalea bush on top of it. I only found it because I was able to estimate where his marker should be based on the "Richards" monument and his wife's marker. I was able to take an okay picture of it through the bush but I think I can do better on a cloudy day (and I can take a cloth to clean it better). I'll upload what I have and replace it later. I'll also add a memorial for his wife in findagrave.
