She is buried in the Nichols plot, which is why I included the picture of the Nichols headstone. There is not a Clara Jones Thomas nearby.
Mary Ruth's daughter Betty is still living, as is her husband Bill.

I don't think I replied to this yet but in the late 70's or early 80's when the cemetery book was compiled there was a listing for Lucy Jones 1896-1968. It lists beside her name that the info came from a metal marker such as the funeral homes use and indications are at that time she had no tombstone. There was no information for a William in the book.
I am not sure who to contact at Swamp Creek but one of the local funeral homes may be able to tell you and give you a phone number. | | | Paula Franklin

I am not sure how to get in touch with the correct persons for the cemetery but I would suggest calling one of the local funeral homes and see if they can give you the name and number of the caretaker for the cemetery. The caretaker should have a list of burials and their locations. I am sure the funeral home has to contact a caretaker whenever they have a new burial to make there.
