Bio and Links
Bio Photo In 2000 I was working for a Title Company, and was fortunate enough to search the old records at the Vigo County Courthouse. They have a complete set of records going back to statehood. Many of the records were falling apart and fading. And it struck me that if I was ever going to work on my genealogy. I had better get started before these records disappeared. And that started this wonderful adventure!

I am a Charter member of the Wabash Valley Genealogy Society. Past President in 2012, past co chair on the Historical Preservation Committee. And presently active on the Cemetery Committee.

It has been a learning and motivational experience networking with this group of genealogist. We are all at different levels, we have beginners and experienced genealogist.

The surnames I am researching are; Davis, Keegan, Hunt, Power, Turner, McGrew, Wilson, Shattuck, Haskell, Butler, Keaton, Trueblood and Frakes.

Happy Hunting for those long lost relatives. You never know where you will find them!

Sophrona Myrtle Edwards Collier Crossley
Myrtle was a really hard person to track. Her given name was Sophrona but she went by Myrtle. She was married several times. Crossley is the last one. This family has been the thorn in my tree since I started searching because they kept changing what name they went by and never was a consistant age in census records. Any information you have I am more than happy to add to her memorial.

Sanda, Leota Ellis duplicated Dorothy's memorial and I can not correct the problem which is wrong. I knew Dorothy and all her family spending time with them even at a young age.

Hey Sandy,

Martin Van Farrand
Hello Sandra, would you be so kind and the photo you took of the Martin in the Watson Cemetery (#51666974); see if he lies near Bartholomew and Mary ???. If so, am pretty sure that is their son then. Thanks.

This is my grandmother and I added her birthdate and death. Somehow she is now listed twice in the cemetery. Does this needed to be fixed and my whom?
