That is so exciting! I have been trying to find information about the Mossberger line. Through a pretty strange set of circumstances I found quite a few Mossbergers buried in Tekemah, NE a few years ago. I have now been able to tie them into my family tree. I would love to compare trees and sources. I look forward to hearing from you.
All the Best,

I have corrected it. Thank you for the information.

Hi Shelia, According to her death certificate her father was Elias Milton. That is why I put Milton as her maiden name. May I ask what documentation you are basing your request on?

I have been doing indexing for Iowa State Armed Forces Grave Registration. I saved the image for Mr. Arnett and have uploaded it to his memorial. My interest is only in providing additional information to family members who might visit the sight from time to time and might consider the information useful.I hope you do not care.

Thanks Sheila, I just made the correction. I am puzzled as to Amy being linked to the other parents... as I have always known that Charles and Margaret Mason McClure were her parents. ?? Wonder if someone else made that suggestion and findagrave made the link? Glad you let me know so I could fix it. Do you know Richard Gaumer, Clifford's son? I think I have his email address in case you want to contact him about McClure genealogy.

You're very welcome Sheila.

Don't know, looking for it now. Could be someone else's record on ancestry ... if I can't find the record again, I'll drop it back to just "C".

Uh-Oh! You are apparently way ahead of me. Orphanage? I didn't know! I assumed a relative took care of the Powell children. Thank you for telling me. ... as for Julia, I also assumed the "Hosie" was an error in the census since I didn't see it anyplace else.
Good luck with your searches. If you want me to help, just tell me what you want and I'll try to help you find. I don't want to duplicate your work. Clc (#47122252)
