I have been researching my family for about 20 years. I am interested in any Suttons, McGrews, McMinn, Wallers, Weavers, Greggs, Morse and Oberlins, out of Steuben County and DeKalb County, Indiana.

Hi I am Willam A Shroyer Jr. My father was William A Shroyer the oldest son of Harley and Elizabeth Sutton. My Grandfather passed away from TB and my Grandmother remarried so that's how we got the Last name Shroyer. If you are keeping track of Suttons I am trying to help you out.

Are you related to Trowbridge's? I see you have created sites for them in IN. Just wondering where you got info on DOB and DOD on Caleb Trowbridge. Thank you

RE: Belding/Root
Thanks for your reply. I was on vacation so didn't have opportunity to respond. I have discovered that Jonathan Belding (d 1850) is buried at the Pekin Cemetery (Pekin Pioneer Cemetery) as is his son Silas Belding (d 1852). I guess this is a private cemetery, there don't seem to be any photos of gravestones there. I don't know if Pekin is anywhere you ever go, but if you do, I sure would appreciate photos of these two headstones. thanks, Dana Kessler

Hi-I am wondering if you would allow me to copy the photos of Rebecca Belding and Elias and Anna Root headstones for my tree. Rebecca and Anna are the daughters of my 4th great grandfather Jonathan Belding. It seems that he should be buried in the same cemetery but he is not listed. He was a Rev War patriot. Please let me know if I can use your photos. Thank you. Dana Kessler

RE: Need your assistance...
They are likely cousins. They come from NJ and other facts seem to point that way. Thanks for the help! Jim.

Need your assistance...
Birth: unknown Death: unknown Revolution Burial: Great Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Uniontown Fayette County Pennsylvania, USA Created by: Rebekah Billings Record added: Jan 29, 2012 Find A Grave Memorial# 84181643. This record suggests Moses Sutton is buried in Pa. not Ohio. Is it possible that the person in Ohio is Moses Sutton, Jr.??? I find many records about the Jr. and it would see odd to me that the Sr. Moses would relocate at such an old age. Can you shed any light on the entry above? Thank you. James.

I would like to collaborate with you on Oberlin family information more privately by email if you are open to that. I would like to talk to you by phone to discuss how to focus our mutual efforts.

I look forward to your private reply.
