I'm not Jewish either, but, "Iyar 21" was the equivalent date on the Jewish calendar for May 10 (2015). Often on the first anniversary of a person's death, the engraved monument will be uncovered ("unveiled").

It was cool here too but sunny and clear..highs in the 50's..not too bad. Better for taking gravestone photographs than 90+ in the summer.

Good luck with your genealogy,

Button, Lyndon T., born 1817, died 1897
Button, Sarah A., born 1819, died 1897
Button, Mary A., born 1853, died 1921
Button, Ruth H., wife of Charles C. Button, died Mar. 29, 1906, age 88
Button, William T., son of Lyndon T. & Sarah A. Button, born Oct. 6, 1841, died Feb. 2, 1868
Button, Worthington B., born 1853, died 1901

RE: Button
I saw that name spelling myself, and thought it was a "C", but I've been wrong on accessions too.

You're very welcome. (But the photos are from Maine, not Mass.) :-)
Happy to help!

You are welcome, it was my pleasure. I know how important these are and want to make sure pictures are processed as quickly as possible.

I have no idea if her name was Bullen or Button. All I have is her headstone to go by. Perhaps you can check her death certificate, a birth certificate, or a marriage record--anything that might provide her parent's names.

RE: Ezra Button
You are so welcome. I have taken photos of your relative's headstones before for you. I have to still get up on Button Hill overlooking Rt 49. It's on someone else's property and I will ask or have my husband ask if he is with me. It is set on a small hill cemetery behind a farm which is set along Route 49 up here. That will be a good one. I have Alfred E Button Jr photo just on hold so when he passes I will have it ready. Take care.

A friend and possible relative by marriage,
Christine Campbell
