I have been into genealogy for a little bit now and just started searching for all family members. My family is not small but those who I would call the Historians has passed on. It has been a hardship trying to locate Obituaries, grave sites and burial records but with find a Grave I have successfully located two (2) family members so far and look forward to locating many more, I have successfully added three(3)memorials look forward to adding many more. I am doing this so that my children and grandchildren will understand their heritage and not just those of what society considers to be famous. |
I am interested in the direct lines of Brown, Cephas, Carter, Green, Fitzgerald, La Vergne, Lloyd, Williams, Wanton. The Green(e)'s & Fitzgerald's from Barbados. The Brown's & Cephas's from Massachusttes, Mississippi and Virginia. The La Vergne's from Puerto Rico & New York City. The Lloyd's & Williams from North & South Carolina and New York City. The Wanton's from Mandarin Duval County Florida & Charleston South Carolina.
I have very little photos of family members due to moving and people just being disrespectful by stealing and making other family members get rid of valuable family information.

I am having a very hard time finding Howard. I have walked the large cemetery a couple of times for 4-5 hours. The manager is never in the office due to cut backs and works on the grounds at this cemetery and others. I did bump into him Wed and he said to call and leave a message but he hasn't called back. I will try again next week. But I did find 5 Brown's in Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven, Bristol Co, MA. Maybe they are yours. I thought I saw Cephas (hope I spelled that correct). I will try to keep my eye out for that name.

You are very welcome and I am glad I could help you. If you have any further requests just submit and I will do my best to fulfill.
She is in Section 21 Lot 2163. Only a couple of stones away from a good friend of mine.
You are so very welcome, from one mother with an ache in her heart to another. ~Cath

so I am unsure if there is a headstone or not.
WE WILL DO THIS, MAYBE THERE IS THE CEMETERY MARKER UNTIL HEADSTONE IS LAID.. AND THEN LATER I WILL CHECK IT AND SEE IF A FAMILY ONE HAS BEEN PUT DOWN..AND WILL GET ANOTHER PICTURE. THE NORM IS 6 MON. SO THAT MEANS SPRING HERE. I WILL SEE TOMORROW WHAT IS GOING ON. OK
EXCUSE CAPS.. ITCHY EYES. FALL

You are very welcome!
I'm glad the work I have done has helped you to find a relative, it makes all the effort well worth it.
I just want to say Thank You very much for posting Mr. Albert Angelo Cephas. I do believe that he is a distant relative of mine.

It is my pleasure to help when ever I can. I see that you have 2 more requests for Hampton Memorial Gardens. I will try to find the sites and have pictures for you by the end of the week. I have a cousin and an uncle buried there also.
